What will you sow this winter?

Today as I was repotting and sowing seeds, to help with my election anxiety, I pulled a dead plant out of its pot only to find a lovely surprise - a seed, open and rooting, twining in the roots of the dead one. I apologized for the disturbance and quietly repotted the roots and seed.

🍁 Autumn is the time of returning to roots, a time for reflection and hibernation as our fruiting summer bodies die back. Its also the time to start thinking of Winter Sowing. Some seeds can only germinate and grow if exposed to the dark frozen ground of Winter.

Remember - we grow, even in darkness, even in the cold. What new or dormant seeds will you bring to your roots for nourishment and shelter this Winter? What beautiful shapes and shades will they become in Spring?
